Mechanical Testing

The mechanical test facilities/services comprise vibration/shock, acoustic noise, balancing and physical properties measurement:
The vibration/shock test facilities generate mechanical vibrations, which represent any vibration environment equipment
is exposed to by a series of electrodynamic shakers and a six degree of freedom hydraulic shaker.
The acoustic noise facility is specified and designed for the generation of acoustic noise levels and spectral shapes
to simulate acoustic environments experienced by aerospace or automotive equipment.
Also available is a series of machines for accurate determination of physical properties like mass, dynamic imbalance,
centre of gravity and moment of inertia along the three orthogonal axes.
