Sub systems on the spacecrafts and inside the test facilities need to be aligned within their required orientation. Depending on the design this alignment can be measured with the use of mirror cubes or their mechanical features. The test centre has different measurement capabilities in this field. Specifically for spacecraft alignment there are 3 instruments available: theodolite (ISO 17025), laser tracker (ISO 17025) and Coordinate Measurement Machine (CMM).
